Charge Variant Mass Spectrometry for Analysis of Biotherapeutics with Orthogonal and Fractionated Sampling

This poster presents an innovative workflow that intelligently and automatically correlates icIEF charge profiles to mass spectrometry data, addressing the challenges of complex icIEF-MS linking or tedious offline analysis. The workflow takes icIEF fraction data from the MauriceFlex™ system and integrates it into the Byos® platform, enabling the superimposition of icIEF and LC-MS data for a comprehensive charge variant analysis. Using a monoclonal-like antibody (NISTmAb) as a sample, the workflow highlights the discrepancies and similarities between the techniques, providing a deeper understanding of protein composition and facilitating orthogonal analysis with visual outputs.
