Detection of Otx2 antibody in NTera-2 Human Cell Line antibody by Flow Cytometry.

Detection of Otx2 in NTera‑2 Human Cell Line by Flow Cytometry.

NTera-2 human testicular embryonic carcinoma cell line was stained with Mouse Anti-Human Otx2 Alexa Fluor® 488-conjugated Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # IC1979G, filled histogram) or isotype control antibody (Catalog # IC0041G, open histogram). To facilitate intracellular staining, cells were fixed with Flow Cytometry Fixation Buffer (Catalog # FC004) and permeabilized with Flow Cytometry Permeabilization/Wash Buffer I (Catalog # FC005). Background: Otx2

Otx2 (orthodenticle 2) is a 289 amino acid protein that is a member of the bicoid subfamily of homeodomain-containing transcription factors. It may play a role in brain and sensory organ development (1). Isoform a differs from isoform b by having an eight amino acid residue insertion between P32 and A33 of Otx2b.
