INTENDED USE AND DESCRIPTION: For use a quantitative control for the determination of human and NHP CXCL10/IP-10/CRG-2 concentrations in biological fluids. Controls are supplied lyophilized. IP-10 was originally identified as an IFN-gamma-inducible gene in monocytes, fibroblasts and endothelial cells. The mouse homolog of human IP-10, CRG-2, shares approximately 67% amino acid sequence identity with human IP-10. The amino acid sequence of IP-10 identified the protein as a member of the CXC chemokine subfamily.

• Reconstituted controls are stable for up to 6 months from date of preparation when stored at ≤ -70 °C. Storage at -20° C is not recommended.
• Individual frozen aliquots of low and high controls are designed as single-use entities. Thaw directly before use and discard any remaining volume.
