Biological Activity for Bepridil hydrochloride

Bepridil hydrochloride is a calcium channel blocker. Also inhibits Na⁺/Ca²⁺ exchange (NCX), sodium channels and cardiac sarcolemmal K_ATP channels; opens mitochondrial K_ATP channels. Antiarrhythmic and antihypertensive; acts as a calcium sensitizer.
