Biological Activity for BzATP triethylammonium salt

BzATP triethylammonium salt is a prototypic P2X₇ receptor agonist (EC₅₀ values are 3.6, 7 and 285 μM for rat, human and mouse receptors respectively). Exhibits 5 - 10 fold greater potency than ATP. Exhibits partial agonist activity at P2X₁ (pEC₅₀ = 8.7) and P2Y₁ receptors and can be used as a photoaffinity label for ATPase.

This compound is a mixture of isomers.
