Webinar: Simple Western Capillary Immunoassays: A Game Changer in Elucidating Intracellular Signaling in Alzheimer’s Disease

Webinar Summary

In this presentation from the Society for Neuroscience (SfN) Neuroscience 2024 meeting, we highlight how Simple Western™ Technology is advancing neurodegenerative disease research. In collaboration with FUJIFILM Cellular Dynamics, we examine TREM2 signaling in an Alzheimer’s disease model using Simple Western capillary immunoassays.

Simple Western bridges the gap between ELISA and western blot, providing both protein size characterization and analytical-grade quantification with pg sensitivity–all from just 3 µL of sample, and without matrix effects.

Key topics covered include:

  • The intracellular signaling cascades and molecular mechanisms underlying Alzheimer’s disease, highlighted through the characterization of iPSC-derived microglial activation
  • How automated Simple Western™ technology enables precise protein size characterization and quantification in complex biological samples
  • An introduction to Leo, the latest addition to the Simple Western family, capable of processing up to 100 samples in a single 3-hour run using minimal sample volumes
