IL-17/IL-17A Products
IL-17/IL-17A is a homodimeric cytokine that is secreted by IL-23 activated Th17 and Tc17 cells. It is upregulated during inflammation and contributes to disease severity by enhancing neutrophil infiltration and the production of pro-inflammatory chemokines. IL-17A can additionally form bioactive heterodimers with IL-17F. IL-17A and the IL-17A/F heterodimer signal through widely expressed receptor complexes containing IL-17 RA and IL-17 RC.
