Product Specifications
Immunogen
This affinity purified 53BP2 Antibody was prepared from whole rabbit serum produced by repeated immunizations with a synthetic peptide corresponding to an internal sequence of human 53BP2. (Uniprot: Q13625)
Reactivity Notes
A BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross-reactivity with 53BP2 from macaque and dog sources based on a 100% homology with the immunizing sequence. Expect partial reactivity with 53BP2 from mouse and rat sources based on an 80% homology with the immunizing sequence. Reactivity against homologues from other sources is not known.
Specificity
This Protein A purified antibody is directed against human 53BP2. Minimal reactivity occurs against ASPP1.
Clonality
Polyclonal
Host
Rabbit
Isotype
IgG
Description
This Protein A purified antibody is directed against human 53BP2. The product was purified from monospecific antiserum by Protein A affinity chromatography

Scientific Data Images for 53BP2 Antibody
Western Blot: 53BP2 Antibody [NBP1-77907]
Western Blot: 53BP2 Antibody [NBP1-77907] - Detection of over-expressed ASPP2 in MCF-7 cells (Lane 2, arrowhead). Lane 1 is a nontransfected control. Lane 3 is MCF-7 cells over-expressing ASPP1. Cell extracts were electrophoresed and transferred to nitrocellulose. The membrane was probed with the primary antibody at a 1:1,000 dilution. The identity of the lower MW band at approximately 40kDa is unknown.Applications for 53BP2 Antibody
Application
Recommended Usage
ELISA
1:2500-1:10000
Immunohistochemistry

Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin
1:10-1:500
Western Blot
1:500-1:3000
Application Notes
This affinity purified antibody has been tested for use in ELISA and western blotting. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user. Expect a band approximately 125 kDa in size corresponding to ASPP2 by western blotting in the appropriate cell lysate or extract.
