Visualization of the antigen present in tissue sections is accomplished in a multi-step immunohistochemical staining process, in conjunction with a horseradish peroxidase (HRP) or alkaline phosphatase (AP) linked detection system. CD45RB is an alternatively spliced form of CD45, a cell surface glycoprotein. It is expressed on peripheral B cells, T cytotoxic cells and CD4+ T cells. It has a role in cell signalling regulation through the activation of the Src family of tyrosine kinases.
