FABP3/H-FABP Antibody (JE53-37)

Western Blot: FABP3/H-FABP Antibody (JE53-37) [NBP3-32325]

Western Blot: FABP3/H-FABP Antibody (JE53-37) [NBP3-32325] - Western blot analysis of FABP3/H-FABP on different lysates with Rabbit anti-FABP3/H-FABP antibody (NBP3-32325) at 1/2,000 dilution.

Lane 1: Mouse heart tissue lysate
Lane 2: Rat heart tissue lysate

Lysates/proteins at 30 ug/Lane.

Predicted band size: 14 kDa
Observed band size: 14 kDa

Exposure time: 3 minutes;

4-20% SDS-PAGE gel.

Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% NFDM/TBST for 1 hour at room temperature. The primary antibody (NBP3-32325) at 1/2,000 dilution was used in 5% NFDM/TBST at 4C overnight. Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG - HRP Secondary Antibody at 1/50,000 dilution was used for 1 hour at room temperature.
FABP3/H-FABP Antibody (JE53-37)

Immunohistochemistry: FABP3/H-FABP Antibody (JE53-37) [NBP3-32325]

Immunohistochemistry: FABP3/H-FABP Antibody (JE53-37) [NBP3-32325] - Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded human heart tissue with Rabbit anti-FABP3/H-FABP antibody (NBP3-32325) at 1/100 dilution.

The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0) for 20 minutes. The tissues were blocked in 1% BSA for 20 minutes at room temperature, washed with ddH2O and PBS, and then probed with the primary antibody (NBP3-32325) at 1/100 dilution for 1 hour at room temperature. The detection was performed using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. Tissues were counterstained with hematoxylin and mounted with DPX.

Background: FABP3/H-FABP

Fatty Acid Binding Protein (FABP) is a small cytosolic protein responsible for the transport and deposition of fatty acids inside the cell. Several different isoforms of FABP are expressed in different tissue types. Cardiac isoform of FABP (cFABP) is expressed mainly in cardiac muscle tissue and in significantly lower concentration in skeletal muscles.

Long Name

Fatty Acid-Binding Protein 3

Alternate Names

H-FABP, HFABP, MDGI

Gene Symbol

FABP3
