Detection of Human Bub1 by Western Blot.
Western blot shows lysates of HEK293 human embryonic kidney cell line and nuclear extracts of HeLa human cervical epithelial carcinoma cell line. PVDF membrane was probed with 1 µg/mL Goat Anti-Human Bub1 Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF3785) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Goat IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF017). A specific band for Bub1 was detected at approximately 130 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 1.Applications for Human Bub1 Antibody

The Bub1 (Budding uninhibited by benzimidazoles-1) protein is a kinase that acts in the mitotic spindle checkpoint. Bub1 delays chromosome segregation in response to genotoxic stress. Mutations or the absence of Bub1 can lead to aneuploidy and chromosomal instability.
