Scientific Data Images for Human CCL2/JE/MCP-1 Alexa Fluor® 488-conjugated Antibody

Detection of CCL2/JE/MCP-1 antibody in Human PBMCs antibody by Flow Cytometry.

Detection of CCL2/JE/MCP-1 in Human PBMCs by Flow Cytometry.

Human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) treated with 250 ng/mL LPS overnight were stained with Mouse Anti-Human CCL2/JE/MCP-1 Alexa Fluor® 488-conjugated Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # IC279G) and Mouse Anti-Human CD11c APC-conjugated Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # FAB1777A). Quadrant markers were set based on control antibody staining (Catalog # IC002G). To facilitate intracellular staining, cells were fixed with Flow Cytometry Fixation Buffer (Catalog # FC004) and permeabilized with Flow Cytometry Permeabilization/Wash Buffer I (Catalog # FC005). Background: CCL2/JE/MCP-1

CCL2 is a beta-chemokine that is also known as Monocyte Chemotactic Protein 1 (MCP-1). It is produced by a variety of cell types and is chemotactic for monocytes and basophils. MCP-1 exists in equilibrium as either a monomer or homodimer, and forms a heterodimer with multiple chemokines. Human and mouse CCL2 share 58% amino acid sequence identity.
