Background: COUP-TF II/NR2F2

Chicken ovalbumin upstream promoter transcription factor II (COUP-TF II, ARP-1, COUP-TFB; NR2F2) is a member of the orphan nuclear receptorfamily. COUP-TF II is expressed in the tongue, follicles of vibrissae, cochIea and in stroma of the nasal septum. COUP-TF II has roles in angiogenesis, vascular remodeling and heart development. COUP-TFs were shown to interact with a number of other nuclear receptors.
