Detects human Galectin-9 in Western blots. In Western blots, approximately 5% cross-reactivity with recombinant human (rh) Galectin-3 and rhGalectin-4 is observed and less than 2% cross-reactivity with rhGalectin-1, rhGalectin-2, rhGalectin-7, and rhGalectin-8 is observed.

Galectin-9 in U937 Human Cell Line.
Galectin-9 was detected in immersion fixed U937 human histiocytic lymphoma cell line using Goat Anti-Human Galectin-9 Biotinylated Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # BAF2045) at 15 µg/mL for 3 hours at room temperature. Cells were stained using the NorthernLights™ 557-conjugated Streptavidin (red; NL999) and counterstained with DAPI (blue). Specific staining was localized to cytoplasm.
