Scientific Data Images for Human JunB Antibody
Detection of Human JunB by Western Blot.
Western blot shows lysates of HeLa human cervical epithelial carcinoma cell line. Gels were loaded with 30 µg of whole cell lysate (WCL), 20 µg of cytoplasmic (Cyto), and 10 µg of nuclear extracts (Nuc). PVDF membrane was probed with 1 µg/mL Sheep Anti-Human JunB Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF4456) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Sheep IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF016). A specific band for JunB was detected at approximately 48 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 3.Applications for Human JunB Antibody

Background: JunB
JunB is a member of the bzip Jun family of transcription factors. JunB binds as a homo or heterodimer, with other members of the Jun/Fos family, to the DNA element TGA[CG]TCA. Knock out mice indicate that JunB is involved in erythroid differentiation and hematopoietic stem cell viability.
