Scientific Data Images for Human SOX10 Antibody

Detection of Human SOX10 antibody by Western Blot.

Detection of Human SOX10 by Western Blot.

Western blot shows lysates of SK-Mel-28 human malignant melanoma cell line. PVDF membrane was probed with 2 µg/mL of Mouse Anti-Human SOX10 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB28643) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF018). A specific band was detected for SOX10 at approximately 49 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 1.
SOX10 antibody in SK-Mel-28 Human Cell Line by Immunocytochemistry (ICC).

SOX10 in SK‑Mel‑28 Human Cell Line.

SOX10 was detected in immersion fixed SK-Mel-28 human malignant melanoma cell line (positive stain) and U2OS human osteosarcoma cell line (negative stain) using Mouse Anti-Human SOX10 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB28643) at 8 µg/mL for 3 hours at room temperature. Cells were stained using the NorthernLights™ 557-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (red; Catalog # NL007) and counterstained with DAPI (blue). Specific staining was localized to cell nuclei. View our protocol for Fluorescent ICC Staining of Cells on Coverslips.

Background: SOX10

SOX10 belongs to the SOX family of transcription factors which display diverse roles during development. In the central nervous system, SOX10 is required for the terminal differentiation of oligodendrocytes and myelination. In the peripheral nervous system, SOX10 maintains pluripotency of neural crest stem cells and suppresses neuronal differentiation.
