4-20% SDS-PAGE gel.

Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% NFDM/TBST for 1 hour at room temperature. The primary antibody (NBP3-32483) at 1/2,000 dilution was used in 5% NFDM/TBST at 4 overnight. Anti-Mouse IgG for IP Nano-secondary antibody at 1/5,000 dilution was used for 1 hour at room temperature.

Background: IRP2

Iron regulatory protein 2 (IRP2) is a central post-transcriptional regulator of cellular and systemic iron metabolism. It is a cytosolic RNA-binding protein that binds to stem-loop structures. IRP2 is regulated by iron-mediated proteolysis. IRP2 also plays a role during hypoxia, as iron and oxygen are closely related.
