Western Blot: Ki67/MKI67 Antibody [NBP3-05537]
Western Blot: Ki67/MKI67 Antibody [NBP3-05537] - Western blot analysis of equal amounts of cell lysates using Ki67/MKI67 Antibody at a dilution of 1:10,000, (green): [1] protein standard (red), [2] rapidly growing HeLa cell cultures, [3] rapidly growing HEK293 cell cultures. Strong double bands larger than the 250kDa standard correspond to full length 345kDa and 395kDa Ki67/MKI67 isoforms, while smaller proteolytic fragments of these isoforms are also invariably detected on the blot.Immunocytochemistry/ Immunofluorescence: Ki67/MKI67 Antibody [NBP3-05537]
Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence: Ki67/MKI67 Antibody [NBP3-05537] - Immunofluorescent analysis of HeLa cells stained with Ki67/MKI67 Antibody at a dilution of 1:5,000 in red, and mouse monoclonal antibody to fibrillarin at a dilution of 1:2,000, in green. The blue is DAPI staining of nuclear DNA. The Ki67/MKI67 protein accumulates in and around the nucleoli of interphase cells such as those on the right, and the nucleoli are revealed by the fibrillarin antibody. In contrast, cells in the quiescent G0 state such as those on the left are Ki67/MKI67 negative but fibrillarin positive.Applications for Ki67/MKI67 Antibody (5F86)

Background: Ki67/MKI67
Detection of Ki67 by immunostaining is commonly used as a proliferation marker in solid tumors, as well as certain hematological malignancies (3-5). The Ki67 index, which reports on positive Ki67 stained tumor cell nuclei, has been extensively studied as a prognostic biomarker in cancers such as breast cancer and cervical cancer.
