Background: MRPL54

MRPL54, or Mitochondrial Ribosomal Protein L54, consists of a single isoform of 138 amino acids that is 16 kDa, and is associated with protein synthesis within the mitochondria, but its specific function is still unknown. Disease research is not currently being conducted on MRPL54. The protein is not linked to any biological processes or pathways, but does interact with ICT1, AARS2, AASS, ABCB7, and ACAD9.
