Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-NCOA3/AIB1 antibody NB100-315 (lot 2) used for IP at 6 ug per reaction. NCOA3/AIB1 was also immunoprecipitated by a previous lot of this antibody (lot 1). For blotting immunoprecipitated NCOA3/AIB1, NB100-315 was used at 1 ug/ml. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 3 minutes.

Background: NCOA3

Steroid receptor coactivator 3 (SRC3) is a ~154 kDa nuclear receptor coactivator that directly binds nuclear receptors and stimulates the transcriptional activities in hormone-dependent fashion. SRC3 recruits 2 other nuclear factors, CBP and PCAF, and thus plays a central role in creating a multisubunit coactivator complex.
