NDRG1 Antibody (4C8)

Immunohistochemistry: NDRG1 Antibody (4C8) [NBP3-26118] -

Immunohistochemistry: NDRG1 Antibody (4C8) [NBP3-26118] - Image of NDRG1 Antibody (4C8) diluted at 1:71.6666666666667 and staining in paraffin-embedded human breast cancer performed. After dewaxing and hydration, antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum 30min at RT. Then primary antibody (1% BSA) was incubated at 4C overnight. The primary is detected by a biotinylated secondary antibody and visualized using an HRP conjugated SP system.

Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence: NDRG1 Antibody (4C8) [NBP3-26118] -

Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence: NDRG1 Antibody (4C8) [NBP3-26118] - Staining of Hela cells with NDRG1 Antibody (4C8) at 1:23, counter-stained with DAPI. The cells were fixed in 4% formaldehyde, permeabilized using 0.2% Triton X-100 and blocked in 10% normal Goat Serum. The cells were then incubated with the antibody overnight at 4C. The secondary antibody was Alexa Fluor 488-conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L).

Background: NDRG1

NDRG1 is a member of the N-myc downregulated gene family which belongs to the alpha/beta hydrolase superfamily. The protein encoded by this gene is a cytoplasmic protein involved in stress responses, hormone responses, cell growth, and differentiation. Mutation in this gene has been reported to be causative for hereditary motor and sensory neuropathy-Lom.
