Scientific Data Images for PAPD1 Antibody

Western Blot: PAPD1 Antibody [NBP2-22258]

Western Blot: PAPD1 Antibody [NBP2-22258]

Western Blot: PAPD1 Antibody [NBP2-22258] - Whole cell lysate from HeLa (15 and 50 ug), 293T (50 ug), and Jurkat (50 ug) cells. NBP2-22258 used for WB at 0.1 ug/ml. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 30 seconds.
Immunoprecipitation: PAPD1 Antibody [NBP2-22258]

Immunoprecipitation: PAPD1 Antibody [NBP2-22258]

Immunoprecipitation: PAPD1 Antibody [NBP2-22258] - Whole cell lysate (1 mg for IP; 20% of IP loaded) from HeLa cells. Antibodies: NBP2-22258 used for IP at 6 ug/mg lysate. PAPD1 was also immunoprecipitated by another rabbit anti-PAPD1 antibody. For blotting immunoprecipitated PAPD1, NBP2-22258 was used at 1 ug/ml. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 30 seconds.

Background: PAPD1

Polymerase that creates the 3' poly(A) tail of mitochondrial transcripts. Plays a role in replication-dependent histone mRNA degradation. May be involved in the terminal uridylation of mature histone mRNAs before their degradation is initiated. Might be responsible for the creation of some UAA stop codons which are not encoded in mtDNA

Alternate Names

EC 2.7.7.19, FLJ10486, mitochondrial poly(A) polymerase, mtPAP, PAP, PAP associated domain containing 1, PAP-associated domain-containing protein 1, PAPD1SPAX4, poly(A) RNA polymerase, mitochondrial, Polynucleotide adenylyltransferase, Terminal uridylyltransferase 1, TUTase 1
