Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence: POLR3H Antibody [NBP2-98184] - Immunofluorescence staining of POLR3H in A431 cells. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA, permeabilzed with 0.1% Triton X-100 in PBS, blocked with 10% serum, and incubated with rabbit anti-Human POLR3H polyclonal antibody (dilution ratio 1:200) at 4C overnight. Then cells were stained with the Alexa Fluor(R)488-conjugated Goat Anti-rabbit IgG secondary antibody (green). Positive staining was localized to Nucleus and Cytoplasm.

Background: POLR3H

DNA-dependent RNA polymerase catalyzes the transcription of DNA into RNA using the four ribonucleosidetriphosphates as substrates. Specific peripheric component of RNA polymerase III which synthesizes small RNAs, such as5S rRNA and tRNAs. Plays a key role in sensing and limiting infection by intracellular bacteria and DNA viruses. Actsas nuclear and cytosolic DNA sensor involved in innate immune response. Can sense non-self dsDNA that serves astemplate for transcription into dsRNA. The non-self RNA polymerase III transcripts, such as Epstein-Barr virus-encodedRNAs (EBERs) induce type I interferon and NF- Kappa-B through the RIG-I pathway
