Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence: PPIL2 Antibody (015) [NBP2-90282] - Immunofluorescence staining of PPIL2 in U2OS cells. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA, permeabilzed with 0.1% Triton X-100 in PBS,blocked with 10% serum, and incubated with rabbit anti-human PPIL2 monoclonal antibody (dilution ratio 1:60) at 4C overnight. Then cells were stained with the Alexa Fluor(TM) 594-conjugated Goat Anti-rabbit IgG secondary antibody (red) and counterstained with DAPI (blue).Positive staining was localized to Nucleus.

Background: PPIL2

PPIL2 is a member of the cyclophilin family of peptidylprolyl isomerases. The cyclophilins are a highly conserved ubiquitous family, members of which play an important role in protein folding, immunosuppression by cyclosporin A, and infection of HIV-1 virions. This protein interacts with the proteinase inhibitor eglin c and is localized in the nucleus. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
