Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence: RNMT Antibody [NBP2-97644] - Immunofluorescence staining of RNMT in U2OS cells. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA, permeabilzed with 0.1% Triton X-100 in PBS, blocked with 10% serum, and incubated with rabbit anti-Human RNMT polyclonal antibody (dilution ratio 1:200) at 4C overnight. Then cells were stained with the Alexa Fluor(R)488-conjugated Goat Anti-rabbit IgG secondary antibody (green). Positive staining was localized to Nucleus.

Background: RNMT

mRNA cap methyltransferase (HCM) catalyzes the N7 methylation of the cap formed by mRNA capping enzyme (HCE) to form a terminal 7-methylguanosine. This is subsequently recognised by cap binding proteins that facilitate key events in gene expression.
