Striatin Antibody

Immunoprecipitation:Striatin AntibodyNBP3-29144] -

Immunoprecipitation:Striatin AntibodyNBP3-29144] -Detection of human Striatin by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (0.5 or 1.0 mg per IP reaction; 20% of IP loaded) from 293T cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-Striatin antibody NBP3-29144 (lot NBP3-29144-1) used for IP at 6 µg per reaction. Striatin was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-Striatin antibody BL17187. For blotting immunoprecipitated Striatin, NBP3-29144 was used at 1 µg/ml. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 30 seconds.

Background: Striatin

Striatin is a calmodulin-binding protein which may function as scaffolding or signaling protein and may play a role in dendritic Ca2+ signaling. Striatin is localized in the somato-dendritic compartment of neurons, mainly in the spines. There is much interest to study striatin localization and function in the human CNS and its possible involvement in neurological diseases.
