Cells were fixed with 4% PFA, permeabilzed with 0.1% Triton X-100 in PBS, blocked with 10% serum, and incubated with rabbit anti-Human SUHW1 polyclonal antibody (dilution ratio 1:200) at 4C overnight. Then cells were stained with the Alexa Fluor(R)488-conjugated Goat Anti-rabbit IgG secondary antibody (green). Positive staining was localized to Nucleus.

Background: SUHW1

SUHW1 was predicted both by automated computational analysis and by similarity to a Drosophila gene and to predicted genes in other species (sheep, chimp, dog, cow). The predicted protein of this gene is similar to Drosophila suppressor of hairy wing protein, a leucine zipper protein which represses the function of transcriptional enhancers of the gypsy retrotransposon.
