Biological Activity for B02

B02 is a RAD51 recombinase inhibitor, exhibiting selectivity for human RAD51 over the E.coli homologue RecA (IC₅₀ values are 27.4 μM and >250 μM, respectively). Inhibits homologous recombination and increases cellular sensitivity to DNA damage in vitro. Enhances the therapeutic effect of cisplatin (Cat. No. 2251) on tumor cells in vivo.
