Aspartyl Aminopeptidase: Proteins and Enzymes

Aspartyl Aminopeptidase is encoded by this gene is an aminopeptidase which prefers acidic amino acids, and specifically favors aspartic acid over glutamic acid. It is thought to be a cytosolic protein involved in general metabolism of intracellular proteins.
