CD5L: cDNA Clones
CD5 Antigen-like (CD5L), also known as Sp alpha, is a secreted protein that is a member of the SCSR (scavenger receptor cysteine rich) superfamily. CD5L/Sp alpha exhibits a high degree of homology with the extracellular regions of CD5 and CD6, exhibiting three SCSR domains. CD5L/Sp alpha is expressed in lymphoid tissues and associates with immunoglobulins of IgM isotype in the plasma/serum.
