CDX4: Lysates
The caudal-type homeobox protein family of transcription factors are involved in early anteroposterior patterning by regulating members of the HOX gene family. CDX proteins contain a caudal-like activation domain and a DNA-binding homeodomain. CDX2 promotes intestinal patterning and development, while CDX4 regulates hematopoiesis and proliferation and differentiation of epithelial lining in the gut. Caudal homologs are associated with various diseases including cancers of the gut epithelium.
