FSH beta: Lysates
Follicle-Stimulating Hormone beta (FSH beta) is a 21 kDa component of the glycoprotein hormone FSH. FSH beta is secreted by the pituitary in noncovalent association with an alpha chain that is also a component of luteinizing hormone, thryoid stimulating hormone, and chorionic gonadotropin. FSH promotes ovarian follicle maturation and spermatogenesis through interactions with the FSH Receptor (FSH R). Human FSH beta shares approximately 90% aa sequence identity with mouse and rat FSH beta.
