GAS2L2: Proteins and Enzymes
The GAS2L2 gene encodes a protein that is directly related to the crosslinking of microtubules and microfilaments and may be involved in the cytoskeleton as it is mostly present in skeletal muscle. Two isoforms are coded for, one (beta) at 880 amino acids long and 96 kDa and the other (alpha) at 293 amino acids in length and at approximately 32 kDa. The GAS2L2 interacts with PTEN gene.
