Histone H1.1: Lysates

Histones are nuclear proteins that are responsible for the nucleosome structure of the chromosomal fiber as they play a critical role in transcription regulation, DNA repair, DNA replication, and chromosomal stability. Histone H1.1 is a 215 amino acid long, 21 kDA protein encoded by the HIST1H1A gene. H1 proteins are essential in forming chromatin fiber and for the condensation of nucleosome chains into higher-order structured fibers. The HIST1H1A gene is active in apoptosis, PKA signaling, histone modification, and granzyme-A pathways. It interacts with genes CDK2, CDK7, CTCFL, DOT1L, and ADPRH. The HIST1H1A gene has been researched regarding measles, breast cancer, prostatitis, carcinoma, paratyphoid fever, and neuronitis.
