IL-3R alpha: cDNA Clones
IL-3 Receptor alpha chain (IL-3R alpha; CD123) is a transmembrane cytokine receptor that is expressed on endothelial cells, monocytes, eosinophils, basophils, mast cells, and plasmacytoid CD4+ T cells. IL-3R alpha serves as a low affinity binding protein for monomeric IL-3. Following binding, it interacts with AIC2A or the common beta chain. The functional hexameric receptor may form higher order complexes with Fc gamma receptors, Integrin beta 1, or VEGFR2.
