Scientific Data Images for GDF-15 Antibody (8E5)

Immunohistochemistry: GDF-15 Antibody (8E5) [NBP3-15139]

Immunohistochemistry: GDF-15 Antibody (8E5) [NBP3-15139]

Immunohistochemistry: GDF-15 Antibody (8E5) [NBP3-15139] - IHC image of GDF-15 antibody diluted at 1:100 and staining in paraffin-embedded human placenta tissue. After dewaxing and hydration, antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum 30 minutes at RT. Then primary antibody (1% BSA) was incubated at 4C overnight. The primary is detected by a Goat anti-rabbit IgG polymer labeled by HRP and visualized using 0.05% DAB.

Background: GDF-15

Growth differentiation factor 15 (GDF15) is a transforming growth factor beta superfamily member that acts to regulate inflammatory and apoptotic responses in injured or diseased tissues. GDF15 is most strongly expressed in the liver, placenta and kidney.

GDF15 antibodies are useful for studies on inflamation and immune system research.
