Immunocytochemistry/ Immunofluorescence: GDF-3 Antibody [NBP2-98719]

Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence: GDF-3 Antibody [NBP2-98719] - Immunofluorescence staining of GDF-3 in HepG2 cells. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA, permeabilzed with 0.3% Triton X-100 in PBS, blocked with 10% serum, and incubated with rabbit anti-human GDF-3 polyclonal antibody (1:5000) at 4C overnight. Then cells were stained with the Alexa Fluor(R)488-conjugated Goat Anti-rabbit IgG Secondary antibody (green) and counterstained with DAPI (blue). Positive staining was localized to cytoplasm.

Background: GDF-3

GDF3 is encoded by this gene is a member of the bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) family and the TGF-beta superfamily. This group of proteins is characterized by a polybasic proteolytic processing site which is cleaved to produce a mature protein containing seven conserved cysteine residues. The members of this family are regulators of cell growth and differentiation in both embryonic and adult tissues. [provided by RefSeq]
