Scientific Data Images for Human/Mouse/Rat PAK4 Antibody
Detection of Human/Mouse/Rat PAK4 by Western Blot.
Western blot shows lysates of Jurkat human acute T cell leukemia cell line, MCF-7 human breast cancer cell line, PT18 mouse mast/basophil cell line, and NIH-3T3 mouse embryonic fibroblast cell line. PVDF membrane was probed with 2 µg/mL of Human/Mouse/Rat PAK4 Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF4178) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Goat IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF109). A specific band was detected for PAK4 at approximately 72 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted using Immunoblot Buffer Group 1.Detection of Human PAK4 by Simple WesternTM.
Simple Western shows lysates of MCF-7 human breast cancer cell line, loaded at 0.5 mg/ml. A specific band was detected for PAK4 at approximately 66 kDa (as indicated) using 5 µg/mL of Goat Anti-Human/Mouse/Rat PAK4 Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF4178). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using the 12-230kDa separation system.Applications for Human/Mouse/Rat PAK4 Antibody

Background: PAK4
As downstream targets of the Rho GTPases, the p21-activated kinase (PAK) family of serine/threonine kinases regulates the organization of the actin cytoskeleton in mammalian cells. The PAK family is structurally categorized in two groups, each with three members: group I PAK1-3; and group II PAK4-6. Targeted disruption of PAK4 in mice leads to severe defects in the development and migration of neurons, suggesting a key role for this kinase in neuronal development.
