Cytokine Formats to Fit Your Needs
To streamline your workflow and enable your program to reach the clinic faster, we now offer our best-selling immune cell therapy cytokines in three convenient ready-to-use formats. Select from a liquid formulation, a process-optimized single-use vial, or a closed-process bag with weldable tubing, customizing your reagent formats to precisely match your workflow requirements.

Liquid formulations for these proteins are currently available to ship to the United States, Canada, and Europe. We are working to expand shipping to other parts of the world.
Liquid Cytokines: Eliminate Reconstitution Steps
Designed to simplify your complex processes, liquid frozen cytokines streamline your workflow, simplify your protocol, and achieve greater research efficiencies by eliminating the reconstitution step. This removes the risk of errors associated with reconstitution plus eliminates the need to maintain a sterile reconstitution buffer. Simply thaw and add to your cell culture.
Protein stability is paramount to ensure safety, bioactivity, and minimal variability. With this in mind, we have optimized protein concentrations and conducted extensive stability testing. You can rest assured of the potency and effectiveness of the liquid cytokines over time, ensuring consistent performance and reliable outcomes for your cell therapy.
Process-Sized Cytokines: Eliminate Aliquoting Steps
Process-sized vials remove the need to aliquot your cytokines, allowing for higher patient safety and reduced hands-on technician time. These single-use vials have been process-optimized and are compatible with any immune cell manufacturing system, including ScaleReady G-Rex® bioreactors. Simply use a syringe to reconstitute cytokines in the vial and add to your cell culture.
- Simplify your cell manufacturing workflow
- Reduce manual touchpoints
- Eliminate aliquoting variability
ProPak: The Benefits of Liquid and Process-Sized GMP Cytokines
ProPak GMP cytokines offer a "best of both" approach: liquid cytokines in process sizes, with the additional benefit of weldable bags supporting a closed-process workflow. GMP IL-7 and IL-15 are delivered through process-sized bags with weldable tubing and are compatible with bagged media for use in a 1 L bioreactor, such as the G-Rex.

In-house scientists determined the concentrations of IL-7 and IL-15 that yield the optimum balance of T cell expansion and memory phenotype. Based on these findings, we now offer process-sized cytokines, enabling you to generate your desired phenotype while requiring less protein and producing less waste. For a demonstration of a hands-free T cell expansion workflow, check out the G-Rex Fill-and-Forget Workflow Application Note.
Direct comparisons of the liquid frozen (blue circles) and lyophilized (red squares) formulations of GMP IL-2, IL-7, and IL-15. All 3 cytokines were tested in cell proliferation assays with no difference in bioactivity observed for any of the cytokines. IL-2 was tested on CTLL-2 mouse cytotoxic T cells, IL-7 was tested on PHA-activated human peripheral blood lymphocytes, and IL-15 was tested on MO7e human megakaryocytic leukemic cells.
Primary human T cell expansion was evaluated using both liquid format and lyophilized cytokines. Cells were expanded in G-Rex® 6M well plates using complete GMP Human T Cell Expansion Media supplemented with either 200 IU/mL GMP IL-2 or a combination of 10 ng/mL of both GMP IL-7 and GMP IL-15 in both liquid and lyophilized formats. After 9 days of expansion, cells were assessed for fold expansion and viability (left; data labels are mean % viability) as well as for memory phenotype using flow cytometry (right).
