Scientific Data Images for Human Apolipoprotein A-I/ApoA1 Antibody

Detection of Human Apolipoprotein A-I/ ApoA1 antibody by Western Blot.

Detection of Human Apolipoprotein A‑I/ ApoA1 by Western Blot.

Western blot shows lysates of HepG2 human hepatocellular carcinoma cell line and Hep3B human hepatocellular carcinoma cell line. PVDF membrane was probed with 0.2 µg/mL of Rabbit Anti-Human Apolipoprotein A-I/ApoA1 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB36641) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Rabbit IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF008). A specific band was detected for Apolipoprotein A-I/ApoA1 at approximately 25-30 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 1.
Detection of Apolipoprotein A-I/ApoA1 antibody in HepG2 Human Cell Line antibody by Flow Cytometry

Detection of Apolipoprotein A‑I/ApoA1 in HepG2 Human Cell Line by Flow Cytometry

HepG2 human hepatocellular carcinoma cell line was stained with Rabbit Anti-Human Apolipoprotein A-I/ApoA1 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB36641, filled histogram) or isotype control antibody (Catalog # MAB1050, open histogram), followed by Phycoerythrin-conjugated Anti-Rabbit IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # F0110). To facilitate intracellular staining, cells were fixed with Flow Cytometry Fixation Buffer (Catalog # FC004) and permeabilized with Flow Cytometry Permeabilization/Wash Buffer I (Catalog # FC005). Apolipoprotein A-I/ApoA1 antibody in Human Hepatocytes by Immunocytochemistry (ICC).

Apolipoprotein A‑I/ApoA1 in Human Hepatocytes.

Apolipoprotein A-I/ApoA1 was detected in immersion fixed human hepatocytes using Rabbit Anti-Human Apolipoprotein A-I/ApoA1 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB36641) at 1 µg/mL for 3 hours at room temperature. Cells were stained using the NorthernLights™ 557-conjugated Anti-Rabbit IgG Secondary Antibody (red; Catalog # NL004) and counterstained with DAPI (blue). Specific staining was localized to cell secretion. View our protocol for Fluorescent ICC Staining of Cells on Coverslips.

Background: Apolipoprotein A-I/ApoA1

ApoA1 is a major protein component of serum high-density lipoprotein (HDL) and is produced by the liver and small intestine. It is involved in reverse cholesterol transport from tissues to the liver. ApoA1 is synthesized as a 267 amino acid (aa) precursor from which a signal peptide and short propeptide are removed. Mature human ApoA1 shares 65% and 61% aa sequence identity with mouse and rat ApoA1, respectively.
