Scientific Data Images for Human/Mouse/Rat PIM2 Antibody
Detection of Human PIM2 by Western Blot.
Western blot shows Recombinant Human Active PIM1 (Catalog # 4588-KS), recombinant human PIM2, and recombinant human PIM3 (5 ng/lane). PVDF membrane was probed with 0.5 µg/mL Mouse Anti-Human/ Mouse/Rat PIM2 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB4355) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF007). A specific band for PIM2 was detected at approximately 38-40 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 3.Detection of Human/Mouse/Rat PIM2 by Western Blot.
Western blot shows lysates of HT-29 human colon adenocarcinoma cell line, Raji human Burkitt's lymphoma cell line, SW480 human colorectal adenocarcinoma cell line, Neuro-2A mouse neuroblastoma cell line, and rat brain tissue. Background: PIM2
The three members of the Pim family of proto-oncogenes encode the serine/threonine kinases PIM1, PIM2, and PIM3. Multiple isoforms of PIM2 are expressed in many tissues, with high levels in spleen, thymus, testis, small intestine, and colon. PIM2 is implicated as a mediator of IL-3 survival signaling in hematopoietic cells, and dysregulated PIM2 expression is observed in prostate cancer, lymphoma, leukemia, and multiple myeloma.
