Scientific Data Images for Human RSK4 Antibody
Detection of Human RSK4 by Western Blot.
Western blot shows lysates of Raji human Burkitt's lymphoma cell line and Ramos human Burkitt's lymphoma cell line. PVDF membrane was probed with 2 µg/mL Rat Anti-Human RSK4 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB3916) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Rat IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF005). A specific band for RSK4 was detected at approximately 90 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 1.Detection of Human RSK4 by Western Blot.
Western blot shows Recombinant Human Active RSK1 (Catalog # 992-KS), recombinant human RSK2, recombinant human RSK3, and recombinant human RSK4 (2 ng/lane). PVDF membrane was probed with 2 µg/mL Rat Anti-Human RSK4 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB3916) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Rat IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF005). Background: RSK4
The 90 kDa ribosomal protein S6 kinases (RSK1-4) are a family of broadly expressed Ser/Thr kinases frequently activated in response to mitogenic stimuli, including growth factors and tumor-promoting phorbol esters. RSK4, also known as RPS6KA6, is commonly deleted in patients with complex X-linked mental retardation. Unlike other RSKs, RSK4 is constitutively active in serum-starved cells, and may participate in non-growth factor signaling.
