Immunocytochemistry/ Immunofluorescence: Adenosine A2aR Antibody (Ig2838) - Chimeric - Azide and BSA Free [NBP3-09003]

Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence: Adenosine A2aR Antibody (Ig2838) - Chimeric [NBP3-09003] - Immunofluorescence analysis of paraformaldehyde fixed HepG2 cells on Shi-fix(TM) coverslips, permeabilized with 0.15% Triton and stained with the chimeric mouse IgG1 version of Ig2838 (NBP3-09003) at 10 ug/ml for 1h followed by Alexa Fluor(R) 488 secondary antibody (2 ug/ml), showing granular cytoplasmic staining, possibly of protein in trafficking vesicles. The nuclear stain is DAPI (blue). Panels show from left-right, top-bottom NBP3-09003, DAPI, merged channels and an isotype control. The isotype control was stained with an unknown specificity antibody followed by Alexa Fluor(R) 488 secondary antibody.

Applications for Adenosine A2aR Antibody (Ig2838) - Chimeric - Azide and BSA Free

Application
Recommended Usage

Block/Neutralize

Optimal dilutions of this antibody should be experimentally determined.

ELISA

Optimal dilutions of this antibody should be experimentally determined.

Immunocytochemistry/ Immunofluorescence

Optimal dilutions of this antibody should be experimentally determined.
Application Notes
This chimeric human antibody was made using the variable domain sequences of the original Mouse IgG1 format, for improved compatibility with existing reagents, assays and techniques.

This antibody binds to the A2 adenosine receptor, a G-protein-coupled receptor for adenosine that, upon ligand binding, activates adenylyl cyclase. The antibody acts as an allosteric inhibitor.
Please Note: Optimal dilutions of this antibody should be experimentally determined.

Background: Adenosine A2aR

Adenosine A2a Receptor encodes a protein which is one of several receptor subtypes for adenosine. The activity of the encoded protein, a G-protein coupled receptor family member, is mediated by G proteins which activate adenylyl cyclase. The encoded protein is abundant in basal ganglia, vasculature and platelets and it is a major target of caffeine.
