Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence: ARHGAP22 Antibody [NBP2-97912] - Immunofluorescence staining of ARHGAP22 in U2OS cells. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA, permeabilzed with 0.1% Triton X-100 in PBS, blocked with 10% serum, and incubated with rabbit anti-Human ARHGAP22 polyclonal antibody (dilution ratio 1:100) at 4C overnight. Then cells were stained with the Alexa Fluor(R)488-conjugated Goat Anti-rabbit IgG secondary antibody (green). Positive staining was localized to Nucleus.

Background: ARHGAP22

ARHGAP22 is a Rho GTPase-activating protein involved in the signal transduction pathway that regulates endothelial cell capillary tube formation during angiogenesis. It acts as a GTPase activator for RAC1 by converting it to an inactive GDP-bound state and also inhibits RAC1-dependent lamellipodia formation. It may also play a role in transcription regulation via its interaction with VEZF1, by regulating activity of the endothelin-1 (EDN1) promoter.
