This antibody was raised by immunizing mice with beta-2 adrenergic receptor.
Specificity
R11/E1 antibody recognizes human beta-2 adrenergic receptor. Beta-adrenergic receptors mediate the catecholamine-induced activation of adenylate cyclase through the action of G proteins. The beta-2-adrenergic receptor binds adrenaline with far grater affinity than noradrenaline.

Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence: beta-2 Adrenergic R/ADRB2 Antibody (R11/E1) - Chimeric [NBP3-12006] - Immunofluorescence analysis of paraformaldehyde fixed A431 cells on Shi-fix(TM) coverslips stained with the chimeric rabbit IgG version of R11/E1 (NBP3-12006) at 10 ug/ml for 1h followed by Alexa Fluor(R) 488 secondary antibody (2 ug/ml), showing membrane staining. The nuclear stain is DAPI (blue). Panels show from left-right, top-bottom NBP3-12006, DAPI, merged channels and an isotype control.
