CABP1 Antibody (JE56-72)

Western Blot: CABP1 Antibody (JE56-72) [NBP3-32099]

Western Blot: CABP1 Antibody (JE56-72) [NBP3-32099] - Western blot analysis of CABP1 on different lysates with Rabbit anti-CABP1 antibody (NBP3-32099) at 1/1,000 dilution.

Lane 1: U-87 MG cell lysate (20 ug/Lane)
Lane 2: Human brain tissue lysate (40 ug/Lane)

Predicted band size: 40 kDa
Observed band size: 40 kDa

Exposure time: 3 minutes;

4-20% SDS-PAGE gel.

Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% NFDM/TBST for 1 hour at room temperature. The primary antibody (NBP3-32099) at 1/1,000 dilution was used in 5% NFDM/TBST at room temperature for 2 hours. Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG - HRP Secondary Antibody at 1:100,000 dilution was used for 1 hour at room temperature.
CABP1 Antibody (JE56-72)

Flow Cytometry: CABP1 Antibody (JE56-72) [NBP3-32099]

Flow Cytometry: CABP1 Antibody (JE56-72) [NBP3-32099] - Flow cytometric analysis of U-87 MG cells labeling CABP1.

Cells were fixed and permeabilized. Then stained with the primary antibody (NBP3-32099, 1ug/ml) (red) compared with Rabbit IgG Isotype Control (green). After incubation of the primary antibody at +4℃ for an hour, the cells were stained with a iFluor™ 488 conjugate-Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Secondary antibody at 1/1,000 dilution for 30 minutes at +4℃. Unlabelled sample was used as a control (cells without incubation with primary antibody; black).

Background: CABP1

CABP1 belongs to a subfamily of calcium binding proteins, which share similarity to calmodulin. Calcium binding proteins are an important component of calcium mediated cellular signal transduction. This protein is only detected in retina and brain. Study of the mouse homolog demonstrated that groups of cells expressing this protein are located in the center or inner border of the inner unclear layer of retina. Two alternatively spliced variants encoding different isoforms have been described.

Alternate Names

CaBP1, CALBRAIN, calcium binding protein 1, calcium binding protein 5, calcium-binding protein 1, Caldendrin, HCALB_BR
