Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence: CDC26 Antibody [NBP2-97346] - Immunofluorescence staining of CDC26 in U2OS cells. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA, permeabilzed with 0.1% Triton X-100 in PBS, blocked with 10% serum, and incubated with rabbit anti-Human CDC26 polyclonal antibody (dilution ratio 1:200) at 4C overnight. Then cells were stained with the Alexa Fluor(R)488-conjugated Goat Anti-rabbit IgG secondary antibody (green). Positive staining was localized to Nucleus.

Background: CDC26

The protein encoded by the CDC26 gene is highly similar to Saccharomyces cerevisiae Cdc26, a component of cell cycleanaphase-promoting complex (APC). APC is composed of a group of highly conserved proteins and functions as a cellcycle-regulated ubiquitin-protein ligase. APC thus is responsible for the cell cycle regulated proteolysis of variousproteins. (provided by RefSeq)
