Immunoprecipitation:CDC42EP4 AntibodyNBP3-29354] -Detection of human BORG4 by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded) from HeLa cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-BORG4 antibody NBP3-29354 used for IP at 10 µg/mg lysate. BORG4 was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-BORG4., which recognizes a downstream epitope. For blotting immunoprecipitated BORG4, was used at 1 µg/ml. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 30 seconds.

Background: CDC42EP4

The product of this gene is a member of the CDC42-binding protein family. Members of this family interact with Rho family GTPases and regulate the organization of the actin cytoskeleton. This protein has been shown to bind both CDC42 and TC10 GTPases in a GTP-dependent manner. When overexpressed in fibroblasts, this protein was able to induce pseudopodia formation, which suggested a role in inducing actin filament assembly and cell shape control. [provided by RefSeq]
