Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-EYA2 antibody NBP1-46816 used for IP at 3 ug/mg lysate. EYA2 was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-EYA2 antibody NBP1-46817, which recognizes a downstream epitope. For blotting immunoprecipitated EYA2, NBP1-46817 was used at 1 ug/ml. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 10 seconds.

This gene encodes a member of the eyes absent (EYA) family of proteins. The encoded protein may be post-translationally modified and may play a role in eye development. A similar protein in mice can act as a transcriptional activator. Five transcript variants encoding three distinct isoforms have been identified for this gene. [provided by RefSeq]
