Background: FBXO47

The FBXO47 gene encodes a 452 amino acid long, nearly 52 kDA F-box only protein 47 that is thought to recognize and bind phosphorylated proteins, subsequently encouraging ubiquitination and degradation. FBXO47 is associated with papillary renal cell carcinoma.
